Nothing wrong with VLM on furniture with correct procedure, but if they left it looking worse, than they did a disservice to the customer.

The owner says they have it clean three times a year and the last guy did a good enough job the first two times but lost his mojo on the 3rd..
I highly doubt he was getting $900 for it though..

We cleaned a pair of high end rugs for a client. The lady of the house was rather particular..... to put it mildly...
I used my laser range finder to set the rugs in place, and all the furniture that sat on top....
Satisfied high end clients pay a premium for a reason..
