More than happy to help clean upholstery, but i don't own a working portable. I have a steamgeni 733 portable in pieces but it hasn't run since putting it in storage in 1983

You related to Chavez? He had a special love for portables..

I was looking at their pictures of the recovery tank and that thing looks awesome! The recovery tank design is more important to the quality of a machine that almost all of the manufacturers overlook.

I was always disappointed in how my HM, blueline, Amtex and prochem tanks are made

Some were too flimsy, all had the float switch on the FKin side right next to the wall for some dumbass reason so you would break it when you were trying to remove or install it. And some had cheap ass vacuum cuffs on the lid while others had terrible access to clean it out good

This AT one looks like it was thought out very well. 👍🏻

Do you believe that the waste tank also has a huge impact on suction

My stainless butler waste tank flexes.
I still have my cast aluminum tank from the white magic that I felt like was better but I did have the 56 blower with it too.
Ive been wanting to swap it but I would have to reconfigure other things too and just haven't had the motivation.
The vacuum just seemed more consistent with the aluminum tank.

Why there’d be a difference in suction between stainless and aluminum tanks.
You’ve got to keep up.

Stainless panels flex. When you bend them and make them round they have less flex.
The supports inside break welds due to that flex making them collapse even more.
The cast aluminum is solid and doesn't flex under pressure like the stainless does so the vacuum is more constant from the wand being locked down even though the hose collapses too. The hose doesn't flex like the stainless tank does.
With the aluminum tank the wand locked down faster and stronger.
And it recovered better.

We have a new waste tank that nobody has seen yet. It’s installed in our demo van, which is coming to the RMH cleaning at the end of this month. I’m sure Mikey will be climbing all over it, checking it out. We’ll have two waste tank options available in the near future. The stainless steel option is available now and is obviously the pricier choice, but I’m really excited about the second option as well.

I doubt there’ll be sufficient room for Mikey’s head.

Can you please start showing your demos in an express box van? Squeezing these machines in a normal van only insults its capabilities to enjoy operating them.

Well, I want that demo van. What’s the IV bag hanging under the blower filter for?

The hose reels over the machine would be a mess with all the shit that falls off the hose when rolling them up
