I have a janitorial account with a really strange floor. It's a chain tire store that tried this fancy new floor which claimed low maintenance costs and all that stuff... here is the link to their website. Some trendy(pub intended) "eco friendly" floor that costs way more than it's worth. Anyways it has been impossible to keep looking clean. Its "non porous" and you cant use anything abrasive to clean it, but it seems to absorb stuff and stain. So it's useless. But anyways it's like 2500sq ft so i didnt want to flood the place with acetone or bleach like they suggest for a deep clean. I had a melamine pad from my orbot vibe package. They call it the ultra lift pad or something. I tried a small spot and it didnt take any shine off, so i went for it today in an office. Worked amazing. Pictures dont do it justice, sorry. The pictures are all after mopping, so the dirt just usually doesn't come off. This helped a ton.

I didnt do the whole place. I did the one office to give them a sample. I'll charge about .40 sq foot if they want the rest done. The pad didnt really show much wear from what I did. The pads are $25 each or so, but worth it in this case. If you have one from that orbot promo try it. You will be surprised.

Did you use any water as a lube or just straight pad? I still have mine somewhere.

Is the new mel-o-mine still an undiscovered secret? It was going to be the next big thing. I should have used it on my hard wood jobs, but I forgot I had it hiding in the sucking vortex I call my garage. I really need to find that thing.

It's far more durable than a Mr Clean
True. It doesn't disintegrate like an eraser, but it seems to clean the same. I also tried it on my marmoleum floor job. Its hippie linoleum that is very soft and fragile and can be damaged by any non neutral chemicals. It seemed to work great, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend it. I'd like to see better directions on them and what to do/not do with them.

Not sure. Grab a Mr clean pad and leave it in your van or truck. Then you can try it if you ever wonder.

I just mopped really quick first to get what dirt I could, then used the vibe while it was still wet. If you want to test I tiny area first you can use a mr clean eraser sponge. Same thing as far as I can tell.
Do you think using the sprayer and misting slightly during scrubbing would be a good idea?

Here you go Jimmy. I think I can do this.
Very vague description.
I think keeping the pad wet is important, because if it dries out it will destroy itself. I was using g the orbot vibe skills I was going to use the onboarding sprayer to mist water In front of it as needed.
