Knocked myself out vacuuming today

In an empty house, prevacuuming. . Wearing a hat and just looking at the floor, I opened this closet door and walked right into the backside of the damn staircase. Came to lying on the floor with the vacuum cord around my legs and the vacuum still running. I definitely have a concussion.

I guess they don't call you Trip for nothing. Hopefully, you can take it easy the next few days. If you feel any ill effects, good to see a doctor. You never know with concussions.

looks like the intermediate landing for a split staircase in the adjoining room.

The "tall" door was cheaper to spec and install than a short door.
