Don’t you offer classes? Your name seems familiar.
Yes.
Since my class relies on hands on instruction, it’s on hold until things become “back to normal” with travel and group meeting issues.

Hey Jim P.,
The guys miss your great classes. When will you start back up again? (Hey man, I don't have the pull I used to have. Retired almost 2 years. But, I am sure our guys would benefit from your wonderful upholstery knowledge and other stuff. I will do what I can to get them to attend one of your classes.)
I just zoomed in on that pic. Is that an after shot of the job or before?I have cleaned these before. The upholstery browns so quickly.
I have used a Dry foam method with a sponge. I've also HWE with an upholstery tool using a low pH product. The products claim to be anti-wicking/browning. Both ways do not get the results I am seeking.
Other than dying from the fumes. What can I do to clean this couch with soil removal and wicking? Even if I sneeze on this, it will brown quickly.
Burn test shows polyester/cotton blend. Inside has feather stuffing inside a white covering (IDK what fabric is covering the feathers. It may be cotton also).

At this point I sure would settle for things getting back to abnormal! The way things are. I don’t see anything being back to normal![]()
That's good. But no, I am not. I just shared this photo because I have been coming across this type of upholstery far too often.I understand what you mean.
I need to take in consideration the health concerns of every potential student, and my office staff here, or the office staff of my sponsors.
Since this whole thing is a moving target, its not impossible that I might delay any scheduling for the balance of this year.
Back to the subject at hand:
Are you working with an existing browning claim? If so, I'm happy to help you to resolve it, if possible.
