Anyone on here still id’ing rugs. All I know on this rug is client was in Nepal and purchased it from a “trader” ?!?! 1980’s

Very nice in terms of aesthetic symmetry. Weavers were highly experienced. Wool must be local, very thick if from Nepal.
Woven Artwork for sure...

Not made in Nepal. Hand-knotted, maybe from Turkey or another country that makes Persian design rugs.

Hard to tell from pics, but if the nap seems a little shaggy the blacks tend to bleed.
