Incredible home first of all, this was one of three rugs they gave after we completed the 12 hour long cleaning today, 2 vans 3 workers. I don't want to give to much info but I though 8k square feet was large, this was 10k square foot plus home. I thought I might put this rug to use but it is massive, about 14ft x 22ft. Rug is wool and handmade is all the information I have based on the price tags/information on the "smaller rugs", not a sticker but a post card type information sheet attached on a yarn noting quality, material, and information about those ones.
Any suggestions as it would take a really special home for a handmade rug this large. Will roll it out tomorrow on the driveway being careful to clean the surface first. Looks to be in immaculate shape came from home with no kids or pets....Suggestions or any relevant information to share? I am even wondering if one of our clients who runs a local private school classified as a museum might be interested so it can go to good use, really don't want to store it.
